2019: A Community Meal
2019
St. Paul, MN-based artist Seitu Jones worked with Newfields staff to organize and host a meal for 250 residents of our surrounding communities. Through the facilitation of a 9-month listening project, Jones has been instrumental in the formation of lasting, sustainable partnerships with a number of community organizations across Indianapolis.
Jones’ work activates community resources in the realization of every element of the meal – from the ingredients used to cook the food to the table on which it is served.
