Objects > When a Tree Falls (Quartered, Quarantined)

In When A Tree Falls (Quartered, Quarantined), a fallen mulberry tree is cut, dried, and reassembled in an approximation of its original form, shifting from living organism to preserved specimen. Installed across four repurposed vitrines, the work adopts the visual language of museum display to frame the tree as an object of study, preservation, and control, foregrounding the tension between care enacted through containment, and preservation achieved through displacement.
