Islands of the Blest
Conceptually and formally referencing Plato's allegory of the cave, Islands of the Blest is a kinetic display of light and shadow. As the lights shift from side to side, the cast shadows move in and out of focus, obscuring the subject and distorting the viewer's perception of the scene.
